Buying

How do I purchase an item?

Simply browse our listings, click on an item you're interested in, and click "Buy Now" or "Add to Cart." You'll be prompted to enter your shipping address and payment information. Once your order is confirmed, the seller will ship your item.

Can I make an offer below the listed price?

Many sellers accept offers! If you see a "Make Offer" button on a listing, you can submit an offer. The seller has 48 hours to accept, decline, or counter your offer. If accepted, you'll complete the purchase at the agreed price.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), debit cards, and Apple Pay/Google Pay through our secure payment processor, Stripe.

Is my purchase protected?

Yes! VideoReject offers buyer protection on all eligible purchases. If your item doesn't arrive, is significantly different from the description, or is damaged, you may be eligible for a refund. Report any issues within 7 days of delivery.

What if the item isn't as described?

First, contact the seller to try to resolve the issue. If you can't reach a resolution, contact VideoReject support within 7 days of receiving the item. Provide photos and details, and we'll investigate and help resolve the dispute.

Selling

How do I start selling?

Click "Start Selling" and complete our seller onboarding process. You'll need to verify your identity and connect a bank account for payouts. Once approved, you can create listings immediately.

What are the seller fees?

VideoReject charges a 5.0% transaction fee on the item price (not including shipping). Additionally, Stripe charges 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction for payment processing. These fees are deducted from your payout automatically.

What can I sell on VideoReject?

VideoReject is for physical movie media only: VHS tapes, DVDs, Blu-ray discs, 4K UHD discs, LaserDiscs, and Betamax tapes. We don't allow digital codes, bootlegs, counterfeit items, or non-media products.

How do I create a good listing?

Use clear, well-lit photos showing the actual item (front, back, spine, disc). Write accurate descriptions including the release year, any special features, and condition details. Be honest about any flaws—buyers appreciate transparency.

When do I get paid?

Funds are typically available for payout 7 days after the buyer receives the item. You can set your payout schedule (daily, weekly, or monthly) in your seller settings. Payouts go directly to your connected bank account.

Shipping

How long does shipping take?

Shipping times depend on the seller's location and shipping method. Most sellers ship within 1-3 business days. Domestic shipping typically takes 3-7 business days; international shipping varies by destination.

How do I track my order?

Once the seller ships your item, you'll receive an email with tracking information. You can also view tracking details in your order history on your dashboard.

Do sellers ship internationally?

Some sellers offer international shipping—you can filter for this when browsing. International orders may be subject to customs duties and taxes, which are the buyer's responsibility.

What if my package is lost or damaged?

Contact the seller first to report the issue. If the tracking shows delivery but you didn't receive it, or if the item arrived damaged, you may be eligible for a refund through our buyer protection program.

How should sellers package items?

Use sturdy packaging appropriate for the format. VHS and DVD cases should be wrapped to prevent case damage. Discs should be secured to prevent shifting. Use bubble wrap or padding, and consider "Do Not Bend" stickers for added protection.

Payments

How are payments processed?

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a leading payment processor. Your payment information is encrypted and never stored on our servers.

When is my card charged?

Your card is charged immediately when you complete a purchase. For offers, your card is charged when the seller accepts your offer.

How do refunds work?

If you're eligible for a refund, it will be processed to your original payment method. Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.

Is there sales tax?

Sales tax is calculated and collected where required by law. The tax amount will be shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.

Account

How do I create an account?

Click "Sign Up" and enter your email address, create a password, and choose a username. You'll receive a confirmation email—click the link to verify your account and you're ready to go!

How do I reset my password?

Click "Sign In" then "Forgot Password." Enter your email address and we'll send you a link to reset your password. The link expires after 24 hours for security.

Can I change my username?

Yes, you can change your username in your account settings. Note that your profile URL will also change, and your previous username may become available for others to use.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings in your dashboard and scroll to "Delete Account." You must complete or cancel any pending orders before deleting. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
